Ched Qualification

1.Be a filipino
2.Having completed high school; or Accruing college credits pertinent to the designated degree programs;
3.Will enroll or is presently enrolled in accredited programs in agriculture, forestry, fisheries, veterinary medical education, and allied agricultural education offered by Private Higher Educations (PHEs) or State Universities or Local Colleges (SUCs/LUCs);
4.The parents’ combined annual gross income should not exceed ₱400,000. CHED Regional Offices (CHEDROs) will review applications with income above ₱400,000.00. The uncommon cases include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Applicant who has four (4) or more dependent siblings
2. Applicant who has family member/s with medical findings of serious illness
3. Applicant whose Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) parents/guardians face employment problems
termination or deportation and
4. Other similar cases as mentioned above.
Be a registered farmer or fisherfolk in the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA) or other registry systems
5.Not be a recipient of government-funded student financial assistance programs.
6.Not have a criminal record involving moral turpitude.

NOTE :The applicant is not eligible to receive any government funding other than the Free Higher Education provided by RA 10931, the “UAQTE Act of 2017,” at SUCs and LUCs.

CHED Documents Requirements

• Birth Certificate issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
• For senior school graduates – correct of original copy of form 138
• For applicants with earned units or currently enrolled in college – correct certified copy of 1st and 2nd semester grades for the last two semesters/term attend
• If employed spouses/parents/guardians latest income tax return of applicants
• Certificate of tax exemption from the bureau of internal revenue (BIR)
• Certificate of no income from BIR or certificate/case study report from the city/municipal social welfare and development (c/MSWD)
• For Indigenous Peoples (IPs), a certificate from the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) is required.
• Dependents of Solo Parents must have a Solo Parent ID or certification from DSWD/MSWD
• Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) should have a PWD ID
• Dependents of Senior Citizens must have their parent’s Senior Citizen ID.
