Scholarship opportunities in the Philippines are available for various levels of education, including elementary, high school, undergraduate, and graduate studies. DCWD Requirements
- Notice of admission to the program (NOAP).
- Requirements for tribal certification include a report card for senior high school graduates and a report of grades from the preceding semester for current college students.
- Barangay clearance
- Barangay endorsement.
- Certificate of Confirmation (COC) from the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) or the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) proving membership in an IP/tribe group and that the tribal chieftain is registered with NCIP/NCMF.
- Certified authentic copy of annual family income tax return (ITR) (not more than PHP120,000.00)
- One recent 2×2 photo (ideally in an IP costume).
- Readiness test for colleges and universities (RTCU), and a “High” ranking in the quality index if enrolled in the engineering program.
DCWD Academic Excellence Scholarship
- To apply, applicants must be a senior high school graduate from a Davao City school from the previous academic year,
- With an average grade point average of at least 85%
- Be in the top 20% of their graduating class.

DCWD Scholarship Offline Application
Applicants must first meet the University of Southeastern Philippines’ qualifying requirements. Once qualified, people can go to the DCWD community relations division office on the 6th floor of the DCWD Matina office to fill out the application form.
