BISU Undergraduate Admission & Scholarship For 2024-2025 

By virtue of Republic Act No. 9722, the university was made the first state university and the third university in the province of Bohol. Representatives Edgardo Chatto, Roberto Cajes, Adam Jala, Cynthia Villar, and Junie Cua wrote the measure on February 16, 2009. On August 18, 2009, the Philippine Congressional Bicameral Conference Committee gave it its approval. On October 14, 2009, President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo signed the measure into law, and it became operative on November 9 of that same year.

BISU Documents Requirements ;

  • A certification from the principal or another authorized staff member attesting to the applicant’s current enrollment in senior high school.
  • A certified accurate copy of Form 137 for students in Grades 10 and 11.
  • The Good Moral Character Certificate
  • A official, recent, 2 x 2 picture with a nametag and a simple background.
  • An educational copy of the record’s transcript (for transferees).
  • General Weighted Average Certificate (for those who are transferring)


Additional Data (Applicable) :

  • Indigenous People – Certificate of Tribe Membership, or any equivalent certification, as belonging to indigenous people/indigenous  cultural community.
  • PWD – Disability Certificate from DSWD or PWD   Identification Card.
