DCWD Requirement For Indigenous People (IPS)

  • Certificate signed by the tribal chieftain.
  • Barangay clearance.
  • Annual household income not exceeding PHP 120,000.
  • Certificate from the national commission on indigenous people (NCIP)or national commission on muslim filipino (NCMF) {which are applicable } certifying member to an IP/Tribal group and that the tribal chieftain is registered with NCIP/NCMF.
  • Readiness Test for colleges and universities, with “high” description in the quality index if enrolled in the university’s engineering program.
  • Compliance to  the  qualifying requirements of USEP.

Who Are Eligible To Apply DCWD  Indigenous People (IPS)?

  • 15-25 years old new freshman or continuing student
  • A senior high school graduate with an average grade of at 80%
  • A member of the ip or indigenous cultural communities and Muslims dwelling in the watershed areas of Toril, Tugbok, Baguio, Calinan, and Marilog districts.
  • If actively enrolled in college, the average grade for the preceding semester before to applying must be at least 80%.

  • Readiness Test for colleges and universities (RTCU)  and with “high” description in the quality index
  • Annual household income not exceeding p120,000
  • Compliance to qualifying requirements of USEP

Who Are Eligible To Apply DCWD Academic Excellence?

  • 15 to 21 years old incoming freshmen
  • A senior high school graduate from a school based in Davao city of the previous school years upon application
  • Part of the top 20% of the graduating class
  • An average grade of least 85%

How To Apply For The DCWD College Scholarship

  • All interested and eligible applicants may proceed to visit the Community Relations Division Office located at the 6th floor of the DCWD Matina Office to fill out the application form.
  • Make sure to comply with all the qualifying requirements of the University of Southeastern Philippines (USEP) before filling out the application form.
