FULBRIGHT GLOBAL UNDERGRADUATE EXCHANGE PROGRAM 2024-2025

The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) offers a scholarship to a broad group of emerging student leaders for one semester of non-degree academic study at a college or university in the United States. The program is sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the United States Department of State, and it attempts to recruit people from underrepresented, non-elite backgrounds who have not had previous opportunities to study in the United States. Successful applicants can expect extensive exposure to American society, culture, and intellectual institutions, as well as opportunities to advance their professional careers.
All participants will be enrolled in full-time, non-degree, undergraduate course work chosen from the existing curriculum of their host university. Participants will be expected to take one 3-credit course in US studies to improve their awareness of the country. Participants will live on campus with American peers and will be required to complete 20 hours of community service.
