PHILFRANCE-DOST SCHOLARSHIP OPEN NOW FOR AY-2024

The goal of the PhilFrance-DOST initiative is to encourage Filipino professionals employed by government, academic, or research institutions to migrate to France. The French Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research selects awardees jointly based on academic excellence to pursue a Master’s or Doctorate degree at French public higher education institutions.

PhilFrance-DOST Benefits

  French Embassy;
1.Enrollment fees for master’s and doctoral programs within the authority of the Ministry of Higher Education (Diploma National) are covered up to EUR 3,770/EUR 380 every academic year, respectively.
2.Exemption from the CVEC (after the acquisition of an exemption certificate)

4.Possible to obtain student accommodations at a preferential rate.
5. Discounted prices for Campus France-organised cultural events
6.exemption from long-stay students visa fees (distinct from TLS contact processing fee)

PhilFrance-DOST Requirements

  • Be a filipino 
  • Less than 50 years old at the time application
  • he/she be a good health  .Applicants of the higher education diploma acknowledged by the philippine government allowing enrollment in the chosen degree in france
        (i)Master’s level applicants must have completed their undergraduate programs as of September 2023
  • Shows great academic performance.
  • Has knowledge or skills required to take out higher studies inside the host institution in the French Republic?..
  • Completed the admission requirements for graduate studies at any of France’s public universities, including interviews and other screening procedures.

NOTE:
The selected program needs to be run full-time, be overseen by the Ministry of Higher Education, and grant national diplomas. Courses offered by international schools established in France, joint degree programs, dual degree programs, and international campuses of French schools are not eligible.

French Embassy Requirements

  • A one-page CV that summarises your academic, professional, and leadership experience.
  • An academic essay of no more than 500 words that explains why you want to study in France and how your experience and degree will benefit the Philippines and Filipino society.
  • Essays that surpass the word limit will be disregarded.
  • Please keep in mind that we are looking for an academic essay rather than a cover letter or motivation letter.
  • A complete and official copy of your most recent academic transcripts
  • Proof of completed application to the preferred degree/French higher education institution.
  • Screenshot(s) of completed online application through school website or portal
  • Screenshot(s) of official admission documents or emails
  • Scan of the mailed admittance letter.
  • Study plan, curriculum, or academic calendar for the chosen programTypically available on the school’s website or upon request.

DOST Requriments

  • Filling out the DOST Application form
  • Budgetary requirements* (along with a document proving the bases for the rates applied)
  • Reentry strategy and story
  • Authentic NBI Clearance
  • Birth certificate
  • A licensed physician’s medical certificate attesting to one’s health and suitability for study, together with the physician’s PRC licence number
  • Two former instructors’ recommendation; college instructors for master’s applicants, master’s program instructors for doctoral aspirants
  • If you were working when you submitted your application, kindly attach these two documents as well
  • Head of Department/Agency Recommendation Authorization to take a Leave of Absence (LOA) while on Scholarship

For courses that are offered in French either fully or in part, evidence of 
French proficiency of at least B2 CEFR
