Every year, the Takeda Science Foundation in Osaka, Japan, awards scholarships to PMA members for further studies in any field of preference or interest in Japan. The fellowship program is available during the months of April 2024 and March 2025.
Takeda Science Foundation Priority Courses;
- Basic medical research (BMR) – maximum of 2 years.
- Clinical studies – 3 to 6 months.

Takeda Science Foundation Require Documents;
- Good standing among Philippine medical association members.
- Those who have been granted admission to a Japanese facility where they intend to pursue research or training.
- Below 45 years of age for clinical studies or 35 years of age for medical research at the fellowship will be availed.
- Who are intend to return of the Philippine upon completion of the fellowship.

Takeda Science Foundation Benefits;
- Normal economy of round trip airfare from manila-japan-manila
- 300,000 monthly stipend during the program covering the board and lodging and other incidental expenses.
- 10,000 Transportation costs between the airport and the Japanese institution where the investigations will be completed
- Average monthly housing cost exceeds 50,000 an additional support for monthly only monthly rent and not for other utilities.
